The Snow Man BY WALLACE STEVENS

One must have a mind of winter
To regard the frost and the boughs
Of the pine-trees crusted with snow;

And have been cold a long time
To behold the junipers shagged with ice,
The spruces rough in the distant glitter

Of the January sun; and not to think
Of any misery in the sound of the wind,
In the sound of a few leaves,

Which is the sound of the land
Full of the same wind
That is blowing in the same bare place

For the listener, who listens in the snow,
And, nothing himself, beholds
Nothing that is not there and the nothing that is.

How beautifully our feet Were leaving their prints, On the path, we followed, Holding each other's hand, While walking and talking, on the edge of the sea. You remember! As the sun went down the horizon, Moon had risen above the horizon, With its dew white lightning, And lighted the whole sea, When you were getting scared of the dark of night. You remember! We promised each other, to be and to die together, While Watching the line of horizon, Where the sky and the sea Seem to kiss each other. You remember! After watching you for hours, When I broke my silence, And uttered the strings of words, To picturize the beauty you owned. They were heard by the stars, Whom till now they have been Singing to the beauty of the moon. You Know! Being there till the morning....

We are living planet

We are living planet, We are the great vessel sailing around a burning sun in the universe. but each and every one of us is also a ship sailing through life with a cargo gene. When we have carried this cargo safely to the next harbour - we have not lived in vain. -Jostein Gaarder
